The 8th-grade students of the French International School of Pondicherry have created a unique calendar for the year 2025 as part of their arts curriculum. The calendar theme, titled “View from the Balcony,” is inspired by the surrounding view of their art classroom, captured through watercolor paintings. This project allowed the students to develop their painting techniques while showcasing the beauty of their immediate environment.
The 9rd-grade students were responsible for designing the layout of the calendar, adding the dates and organizing the pages in a harmonious way.
The calendar is available as a desk calendar, with 13 colorful pages (one for each month of the year) priced at 500 INR. Each page measures 21 cm in width and 18 cm in height.
This calendar is a wonderful way to support the students’ artistic projects and discover their creative talent.
