Elementary school has five levels, from CP to CM2 (6 to 11 years old), which will allow students to gradually develop their mastery of the fundamental tools of French and mathematics. Pupils structure and deepen their knowledge of the world through disciplines such as history, geography or science, but they also develop their tastes and their artistic and physical abilities as well as their ability to situate themselves in a group.

At school, students acquire skills that will be essential to them throughout their lives to continue their studies, build their personal and professional future, succeed in life in society and freely exercise their citizenship. Respect for others is one of these fundamental skills.

The program

Their learning is carried, in elementary school, by Moral and Civic Education. It is a structuring element of school life, in particular through respect for the rules, the prevention of incivility, violence and risky behavior, health and safety education. It also involves educational actions that engage students in concrete situations around activities.

The practice of sports, cultural and artistic activities strongly contributes to the well-being of students at school. Awareness of our common cultural heritage, the encounter with the works and artistic practice promote the development of students, whether for learning the fundamentals or for strengthening their emotional intelligence. Sport transmits fundamental values: the taste for effort, the desire to surpass oneself, respect for others, for oneself and for the rules. Regular physical and sports practice is essential for the well-being of students. It also promotes concentration and self-confidence.

The LFIP does not forget the Franco-Tamil bi-culturality and international openness. All students from CP to CM2 can benefit from English and Tamil lessons. An international section is accessible from CP (4 hours of intensive English per week).
