FISP STMG Students Participate in the GOPIO International Business Summit & Expo 2025

On August 23rd and 24th, while the school holidays were still ongoing, a group of STMG students from the French International School of Pondicherry (FISP) took part in the GOPIO International Business Summit & Expo 2025, held in Pondicherry and organized by the Global Organisation for People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) in collaboration with the Puducherry Tourism Department.

Accompanied by their teacher, Mrs Vincent, the students actively contributed to the organization and smooth running of this international event. They welcomed and guided attendees, distributed informational materials about the school, assisted in logistical coordination, and engaged with participants from diverse backgrounds.

This hands-on experience offered our students a unique opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a professional international setting while developing interpersonal skills and adaptability.

Through their involvement, our students also showcased the core values of LFIP, upheld for nearly 200 years: academic excellence, international openness, self-confidence, and intercultural understanding.

Their participation in such a prestigious event exemplifies LFIP’s mission: preparing young people to become responsible, confident, and globally minded citizens.
