Segalen Literary Prize 2025: A Literary and Creative Journey for Our 10th Graders

This year, the 10th graders at the French International School of Pondicherry took part in the Segalen Literary Prize 2025, an engaging reading and creative project centered around contemporary young adult literature.

The students explored three novels:

  • Gardienne de la forêt by Nathalie Bernard
  • Nos corps jugés by Catherine Cuenca
  • Comme un oiseau dans les nuages by Sandrine Kao

After reading the three books, the students voted for their favorite one. They also created personal projects inspired by their reading, including illustrations, poems, literary reviews, videos, and multimedia works—testimonies of their insight, creativity, and commitment.

Students were assessed both through a reading quiz and the quality of their creative work. The five best projects were awarded prizes, and all participants received a commemorative t-shirt as a token of their involvement in this enriching journey.

Congratulations to all students for their dedication, enthusiasm, and imagination!
